Olvi Group Companies

The Olvi Group comprises five brewing companies, one in Finland, one in Belarussia and one in each Baltic state. The parent company Olvi plc is located in Iisalmi, Finland.

1999 Olvi’s operation was expanded into Latvia after the acquisition of a minority share in A/S Cesu Alus Company. Later in the same year Olvi also bought a minority share in a Lithuanian brewery, AB Ragutis (= Volfas Engelman). As at 2011 Olvi plc owns the entire capital stock of the Estonian brewery AS A. Le Coq. Olvi plc owns 99.53 percent of the capital stock of the Latvian A/S Cesu Alus brewery and 99.57 per cent of the Lithuanian Volfas Engelman. Olvi plc owns 91.58 per cent of the Belarussian OAO Lidskoe Pivo brewery.
